Avaya Stadium in San Jose CA is home to the San Jose Earthquakes.  Avaya ranks #5 on my MLS list because of newness and technology.  Avaya Stadium is the newest stadium in the MLS opening in 2015 behind the brand new Orlando City Stadium.  It’s features include the largest outdoor bar in the US and also roof around the edge over the seats. It’s seating capacity is 18,000 which makes it the smallest MLS stadium.  They rarely fill to capacity averaging the lowest attendance in the MLS.  Avaya Stadium is unique in the MLS because it is owned by the team itself so they can make whatever changes they want to.  It also features a large video scoreboard and suites around the base of the stands right next to the field.
